The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise. Proverbs 12:15.

Wisdom is the recognition of our own inadequacies. Foolishness is thinking we can handle all our problems on our own. It is wise to be aware of our tendency to become overcome by anxiety and to be prepared to deal with it. This involves building supportive relationships that can bring us help when we become overwhelmed.

Good morning and Amen

Just A “Thoughtful Thursday.

God listens carefully to every prayer request and answers it. His answer may be yes, no, or wait. Any loving parent gives all three of these responses to a child. Answering yes to every request would spoil you and be dangerous to your well-being. Answering no to every request would be vindictive, stingy, and damage your spirit. Answering wait to every prayer would be frustrating. But sometimes God just wants to talk to you, because it is through a conversation that you learn and grow your relationship. Many of the best times with a parent are just spent talking. The same is true with God.

(Ref: Psalm 116:1-2) 💕

Good morning Amen and Hallelujah He is so Good ❤️

In most cultures, success is defined by how much we own and how much we achieve. But by God’s standards, success is measured not by material assets but by spiritual assets, not by what you have but by who you are, not by what you know but by knowing God and serving him. Some are successful both by the world’s standards and by God’s standards, but this is rare. We get into trouble when we gain material or worldly success at the expense of true success as God defines it. On the day of our death, when we lay aside all material assets, what we own will have absolutely no eternal value. But how we have succeeded in what God considers important will count in every way. It is interesting and frustrating to realize just how much the world has succeeded in flip-flopping what we actually value with what we…

God loves you so much that he gave up the life of his Son so that you could have a relationship with him forever.

(Ref. Galatians 2:20) 💕

Good morning Amen and Hallelujah ❤️

God didn't give you the strength to get back on your feet only for you to run

back to the very thing that knocked you down. It's not a good idea to pick up something God

helped you put away.

If someone consistently does a good job they can usually be trusted with more freedom and responsibility. Their work has received approval from someone higher up. In the same way, the more we serve God, the more he will reward our faithfulness and give us opportunities to serve him with more freedom and responsibility. There is a difference between God’s love for us (which never changes) and his approval of our work (which is based on how well we serve him).

(Ref. Matt. 25:23)

Good morning for sure Amen 😁👍🏾❤️

God’s character is not ambiguous as in uncertain, but he is an enigma. He is inexplicable in his creation, his work, his power, his ways and his understanding. Would we want a God absent of mystery, one we could fully comprehend? Then we would be his equal and he wouldn’t be God. (Ref. Isaiah 40:13)

Good morning Amen and Hallelujah ❤️

When the enemy tries to intimidate you with lies about your inadequacies, you can summon that same power God used to transform your life to boldly share your faith.

(Ref. 2Tim. 1:7-8)

Good morning Amen ❤️

God has a plan for your life. It is not an unthinking, automated script that you must follow. It is a journey with various important destinations and appointments but also with a great deal of freedom as to the pace and scope of the travel. God’s plan for you will always have a sense of mystery, but you can be certain that he will guide you as long as you rely on his leading.

(Ref. Psalm 138:8)

Good morning Amen and Hallelujah ♥️

Accountability is giving an account of yourself to someone—where you’ve been, what you’ve been doing, who you’ve been with, how you will perform a certain task, or what your motives are.

But don’t most of us resent it when we are fully accountable? We may feel that it restricts us and forces us to expose dark corners of our lives we’d prefer to keep hidden.

Although genuine accountability may be uncomfortable, it’s necessary, for it keeps us honest, moral, and on the right path. It urges us to do what we should do, even if we prefer not to. If we answer to no one, aren’t we free to go where our desires lead rather than where God leads.

When we think no one is watching or no one will ask us tough questions, it’s easy to do whatever we want. We are more prone to take the wrong path. But God…

Contentment comes from a proper perspective of eternity. Contentment is not how much you accumulate on earth but how much you send ahead to heaven. Who you are goes with you to eternity; what you have stays here.

Contentment begins with realizing your eternal destiny. It isn’t how much you achieve, but where you are headed. When you realize that there is more to life than your time on earth, you approach your life on earth differently.

(Read 1 Timothy 6:6-7) 💕

Good morning Amen and Hallelujah something to really think about 💜

A "Thoughtful Thursday"

Wrong assumptions can lead to arguments and even threaten our relationships with others. When we assume we are right, we also assume the other person is wrong, so we set out to prove our rightness and their wrongness. This puts us in the dangerous position of judging others, and ascribing guilt to someone who might not be guilty. It also makes us look foolish when our assumptions prove incorrect. (Reference 1 Timothy 1:4) 💕

Good morning Amen❤️

Good morning Amen and Hallelujah💙

A "Thoughtful Thursday"

We can trust the Lord with all our hearts! Sometimes, we fall on hardships, and life seems to be a neverending struggle. Thankfully, we know God always has our best interest in mind, even when life's circumstances are not going well. We have hope in God's plan for our lives because He will not lead us astray; aligning our lives with the will of God will bring us peace and comfort even in the darkest hour.

Amen 😁

God’s plan for your life is not a written script that you must follow; rather, it is a journey with various important destinations and appointments but with a great deal of freedom as to the pace and scope of the travel. God’s plan for you will always have a sense of mystery about it, but you can be certain that, as you look for his leading, God will guide and direct you on your journey. If you separate yourself from God, you are removing yourself from his plan, his guidance, and his blessings. Come back to him, and he will redeem your lost time.

Good Afternoon Amen and Hallelujah ❤️

.

God values us so much that he was willing to send his Son to die for each of us so we could live forever with him, enjoying his love and care. He did this even while we were still stained with sin and had done nothing to deserve his forgiveness. God affirms our value, even if our lives are a mess.
